Status reports

Austria's cultural and scientific knowledge resources are unique public assets that provide a knowledge basis for the development of our content industries in a sustainable knowledge society. To be able to unlock the value of these resources, digitisation and the generation of digital content are essential first steps.

The following Austrian National Status Reports, produced for the European global report in the context of the Lund Action Plan, focus on Austrian digitisation policies, initiatives and projects in each year. They provide a summary with regards to:

  • Policies and programmes on digitisation
  • Co-operation activities
  • Benchmarking
  • Inventories and resource discovery
  • Good practice and skills
  • European added value and content framework
  • Research activities in digitisation
  • Regional initiatives and programmes
